   @Jdonovanford Part I, the electrons come from the semiconducting circuit attached to the PV cell. basically photons come in from the sun and collide with electrons in the silicon cell. the electrons enter an excited state due to the photoelectric effect discovered by einstein. the law of entropy states that all energy tries to exist in the smallest, lowest (most effecient) energy state possible so the electron needs to get rid of the energy. if there is no where to move the electron will decay?

   Answering your question which I’m sure you’ve already found an answer to.. The electrons are created by electromagnetic force within a generator. A basic example of this is copper wire wrapped tightly? around a magnet. When it spins, it creates a flow of electrons.

    I have a question of a curious? nature. Say you have an electrical generator that keeps running and running, producing an electrical current continuously. Where do the Electrons come from? Where do the electrons keep coming from that are produced by the Generator? Do they come from the windings of the generator, and if so, wouldn’t the generator soon run out of electrons? If not, then where are they coming from? Any information would be appreciated, I am quite curious about this.

    Does it make a difference which end of the diode gets soldered to the red wire? Did you get your terminal block in Radio Shack?? Can you give me a little more on? the tapping wire, how do I connect each row. Does it matter on the 2 rows of wire on the cells do they connect to any wire on the next row cells?
