Swine Flu Risks - Know the Facts
Posted under environment by Lydia PeruIt has not been that long since the media was filled with stories of the bird flu and the potential risk to the global population. Deaths in several countries brought the idea of epidemic into our consciousness. Are we facing this same potential problem with swine flu, the newest of health concerns?
There are many diseases known to our animal population that are of little concern to humans. Typically measures are taken to reduce disease, but in the over populated conditions of farming and ranching it is an ongoing challenge. We are concerned when a livestock borne virus is transmitted to people, and we have seen the results with the bird flu. Will we have the same global health risk with swine flu?
The swine flu, and much other common flu varieties, are type A/H1N1, according to the Center for Disease Control or CDC. You can spread this flu virus by coughing or sneezing, for this type is spread through watery discharge or water vapor.
How can we counter the spread of flu viruses? One of the most highly recommended, and logical, is simply washing our hands. When you use a tissue you should dispose of it properly, and again wash your hands before handling anything or touching your nose, mouth or eyes.
We dont always take the time to clean up, and since a sneeze is designed to clear the irritants away from our body we can easily spread a virus without intent. What more can we do to improve our chance of avoiding viruses like the swine flu?
There are many simple steps you can take to create a safe, swine flu free environment. One of the most versatile and low cost is to bring water purification drops into your daily home, office and health routines.
You would think that water purification drops would have a single purpose, and yes they are the best method for purifying water, but there is more potential than is imaginable. When you use water purification drops such as sodium chlorite along with a food grade acidic activator, such as citric acid, you unlock the potential of those drops.
There is a synergetic action that happens when you mix the water purification drops with its activator, and the virus-busting action can continue for hours. When the mixture is finished it reverts back to water and sodium. Can these drops harm the human body or our animal population? No, in this diluted mix these drops will not harm healthy tissues.
The swine flu does not need to impact our busy lives, we have enough to deal with thank you very much! Instead, with a little maintenance and thought, and a clean, purifying anti-viral agent such as water purification drops, we can avert the swine flu.
